About Delaware

At first glance, the diversity of the beaches of the Delaware does not have a prominent distinctive feature. There is no clear predominance of mountain landscapes or crystal sea, on the contrary, everything seems balanced. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why the flow of tourists continues to grow from year to year.

Latest reviews on Delaware's beaches

Fowler Beach
8 Vasco De Gama

Contribution from Anonymous reviewer. This beach is federally owned and is CLOSED to all public access March 1 through September 30 to protect sensitive migrating and nesting birds. Do not go in the spring or summer.

Bethany Beach
8 Lisette Anderson

This beach is quite lovely and has a relatively easy access point from the boardwalk. It is well-kept and clean, and there are plenty of benches available. During the morning hours in the off season, most of the shops were closed, but street parking was free and the locals are very friendly. Overall, it's a great spot for a leisurely walk.

Fenwick Beach
10 Nathanial Greyson

We had an amazing time at the beach with our furry companion Jasmine. It was her first time at the beach and she loved it. We enjoyed meeting new furry friends and people and Jasmine was exhausted by the end of the day. We highly recommend this beach to anyone who considers their pet a part of their family.

Rehoboth Beach
8 Alan Bennett

We recently stayed in Lewes for a week and decided to take a short trip to Rehoboth to explore and do some shopping. Although my brother-in-law used to live in Rehoboth, he has been residing in Lewes for a few years now. The boardwalk in Rehoboth is pleasant and always bustling with both tourists and locals.

Towers Beach
10 Lila Wintersmith

This beach is a serene and immaculate haven. It's perfect for bird enthusiasts as we spotted numerous Ospreys on the hunt. Additionally, it's a treasure trove for seashell collectors. We visited in the morning and found the facilities to be spotless, including the restrooms. However, it's important to note that there are no lifeguards on duty if you plan on taking a dip in the water.

Maryland Beach
10 Zahira Nova

I stumbled upon this beach during my travels and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and clean environment. The staff, particularly our young waitress, were very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience and I definitely plan on returning in the future.

Please note that lifeguards supervise 9 beaches in the state, but you should rely on more than just them, remember the elementary rules, as lifeguards are not on duty around the clock, even on equipped beaches!
