The beach is really nice and perfect for fishing, collecting shells, and building sand castles! They have done a great job clearing out the natural debris left by the last hurricane. Just a heads up, if you're bringing young children, the bathrooms are located near the kayak rentals, which is about a quarter mile down the road.

We really miss the Gardens. Hurricane Ian devastated this property, along with many others! We are grateful for the amazing times and memories we had there.

This stunning beach boasts a vibrant atmosphere, bustling with people, stores, and a lively boardwalk as soon as you cross the bridge. Multiple parking locations are available for a fee of $30, but be sure to do some research beforehand as some spots may only offer portable bathrooms. However, I opted to continue driving and stumbled upon the picturesque Newton Park. Though parking here costs $5.00 per hour, the park provides clean and well-maintained restrooms, as well as a refreshing water fountain. It's crucial to pay on time to avoid a $35 ticket, but the park also offers ample seating areas for families to enjoy. The ocean's calm and crystal-clear waters make it an ideal spot for children, and collecting shells is a popular activity here. While there are no umbrella rentals available, feel free to bring your own. With something for everyone, I wholeheartedly recommend this beach to all families.

The beach was fantastic, and the 8 dollar car fee beats the 5 dollar hourly rate on Sanibel Island. The tram service, which will take you half a mile away, is also available. The beach was teeming with stunning seashells, and it wasn't overcrowded. We even found some waves that were perfect for body surfing, which we hadn't seen at other beaches. The restrooms were clean, and I was thoroughly impressed. I'm glad we made the journey.

Lighthouse beach

This beach has a stunning lighthouse at one end, making it a picturesque spot. The sand is light and the water is fun but can be rough. Unfortunately, parking is limited, but this is a common issue for Florida beaches. The cost is $5 per hour, and there are two restroom buildings available.
