The beach would have been a great place for swimming if it weren't for the presence of random strangers who have occupied the area with unattractive makeshift shacks and other trash. This issue is not limited to just this beach, as other beaches along the coastline also suffer from individuals who believe they own the beaches and leave behind abandoned rusty vehicles and tools.

This beach is not ideal for families with young children. There is a significant drop-off, plenty of broken shells, and on the day we visited, the sea was rough. Despite only going in a little ways, we still managed to spot some fish. However, the water was not as clear as we had anticipated based on the area's reputation. (We visited in mid-October) We didn't come across any manatees or other wildlife. The church was closed, but the lighthouse museum was open. We didn't go inside as we were all in our bathing suits. We were able to find 2 Sharks teeth without much digging, and my sons collected some larger intact shells. There was an entry fee and a small parking fee. During this time of year, the beach was mostly occupied by senior citizens, except for our group. Although there were many people fishing from the beach, we didn't witness anyone actually catching anything.

This charming little town boasts a stunning beach that is truly a sight to behold. The serene atmosphere is perfect for those seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The convenience of nearby restrooms and the well-maintained walkways make for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Adding to the beach's charm is a delightful turtle sculpture that adds a touch of whimsy to the surroundings. Additionally, there are plenty of watering stations available for visitors to stay hydrated and refreshed.

This beach is the perfect spot for a family outing. It's not overly crowded, and there's a lifeguard on duty, as well as bathrooms, a playground, and a shower for rinsing off.

The beach was equipped with a dingy restroom that seemed to have seen better days. The only redeeming quality was the abundance of private space, which was probably due to the lack of visitors. It was a ghost town, with no signs of life or activity. The free parking was a small consolation, but it hardly made up for the dreary atmosphere. The only thing of interest were the sea shells scattered along the shore, but even they couldn't make up for the overall lackluster experience.

This beach is stunning! It was clean and not too crowded, possibly because of COVID and being February. The waves were massive and mesmerizing to watch and listen to. The bathrooms were clean, although the metal toilets were a bit strange. There is a fun playground for children to enjoy and burn off some energy. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area.
