About Yarmouth

Yarmouth town is located in Massachusetts United States, and famous for its turquoise water, whose crystal clarity is incredible! This increases the level of beach recreation, since the better the water, the more pleasant it is to be in it! But don't be too cool!

Craigville Beach

I would have given it a 5-star rating, but the parking fee of $25 per day to access the beach and enjoy swimming was excessive. It seems like greed has taken over the cape, just like everywhere else now 😕.

Sandy Neck beach

This beach is top-notch, with serene surroundings and stunning views, particularly at low tide. Don't forget to pack some insect repellent to deter the occasional horsefly.

Sesuit beach

The beach, located right by the jetty and harbor, is absolutely stunning.

South Middle Beach

This is my absolute favorite beach in South Yarmouth! You can either bike or park with a permit on Judan Way or at the Town Lot across the street. There's a nice, clean bathroom right in front, but unfortunately no showers. The town has made the first 20 yards from the street onto the beach very walkable. The sand has a pleasingly coarse texture and the ocean is usually free of seaweed, calm, and warmed by the Gulf Stream. There's no need to worry about sharks. You'll see plenty of horseshoe crabs, pipers, plovers, seagulls, and on colder days, jellyfish move towards the shore. This is a great beach for walking- head towards Parker River or Smugglers Beach. Snorkeling is excellent and floats are allowed. There's one lifeguard on duty and a roaming presence from the ToY/Coast Guard.

This place is perfect for fishing! The beach is incredibly beautiful with its pristine white sand. I absolutely adore spending time there!

This is a fantastic spot to unwind with loved ones. Even during holiday weekends, it wasn't overly busy.
