This review might come across as a bit unfair, but I want to be honest and explain my thoughts. The beach is actually quite nice and has its advantages. It's not as crowded, so if you're not a fan of crowds, you might prefer it here. The beach stretches out for a long distance, allowing plenty of space to spread out. The view of Lake Michigan is always beautiful. Additionally, dogs are allowed on the beach. Now, let's talk about the negatives. It takes about 3 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the beach, which may not be a big deal, but the path is uneven. The drive down to the beach is on a crazy road with a steep incline and twists. While the view is pretty, it's a bit underwhelming compared to other nearby beaches. Overall, I would rate this beach as a 3-star experience. This is mainly because there are other beaches in the area that are fantastic and very close by, such as Frankfort Beach and Point Betsie Lighthouse Beach. If those beaches were further away, maybe around 30 minutes instead of 8 and 20, I would probably give this beach a 4-star rating. But if you prefer this beach, more power to you.
