Mother's beach
10 Bella O.

This beach is a wonderful addition to our list of favorite beaches around the world. The sand is incredibly soft and white, creating a velvety texture. The overall atmosphere is delightful, and the surroundings are peaceful with friendly neighbors. Plus, the name of the beach is simply the best! It truly feels like paradise.

Ogunquit beach
10 Mateo Sandoval

This expansive beach is truly remarkable! Although the water may be chilly, the overall experience is exceptional. Conveniently located parking and public restrooms make it a hassle-free destination.

Hampton beach
10 Renée Lyon

The beach is well-maintained and roomy, as we visited during the busy July 4th week and still had ample space on the sand. It's also a great spot for families, with a variety of small gift shops, a large indoor arcade, and an outdoor playground. Additionally, there's a fantastic fireworks display every Wednesday evening during the summer.

Plum Island beach
8 Mx Zara

To avoid paying $15 for MA resident parking and dealing with crowds, there is free parking available after 5pm. However, be careful to park in the designated lots for Plum Island beach parking, as there are many private lots for residents. While there are some restaurants with beach access, we opted for the official Plum Island Beach parking lot. Instead of taking the wooden boardwalk, we walked on the flat, black path made of sand. It's important to stay in the middle of the path and behind the ropes, as there is some poison ivy around. At the end of the path, there were some remnants of a concrete structure. The tide was high and the current was strong, so it's important to be cautious.

Short Sands beach
10 Linh Nguyen Duc

This small town boasts a lovely beach area with convenient amenities such as a public bathroom and a spacious playground for children. Parking is available for a fee of 2$ per hour. The surrounding area is dotted with a variety of charming shops and restaurants, making it an ideal destination to visit.

Salisbury beach
10 Aria Paloma

This beach is simply amazing. The sand is incredibly soft, and the lack of cell service ensures that you can truly disconnect and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings. Parking is plentiful, and the beach itself is expansive, allowing for plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves without feeling cramped. Although the water is quite chilly due to its location in the northeastern region, surfers will be pleased to know that the waves are impressive.
