We had a large group that arrived for a beach memorial this morning and the shed to accept payment was closed. After the memorial we were set up in a long line. One of the staff walked past all 30 of us and proceed to ask the ONLY black person in our group if they had paid. It was a blatant racism and completely disrespectful. The manager sent the employee home and then, rather than addressing the issue with us, asked us to pay!!!!! We would all happily pay, but not after that. People of color, beware of the staff and management at this beach!!

This is hands down the best family beach in New Jersey. The water and sand are both clean and pleasant. What sets this beach apart is the abundance of sand, without any pesky pebbles that can hurt your feet. The water is shallow enough to have fun and swim without suddenly getting too deep. Additionally, there are two spacious pavilions available. While parking is free, it can be challenging to find a spot on busy days. The beach fee for adults is $12. Keep in mind that there are no changing rooms, so you'll need to use the restrooms to change your clothes. It's important to note that coolers are not allowed. Overall, this beach offers a fantastic experience.

This beach is a stunning location to witness the perfect sunrise! The boardwalk and water are pristine and unspoiled, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. 💗 For the ultimate experience, arrive an hour before sunrise and bask in the breathtaking beauty of the sun's first rays. It's advisable to bring a jacket as the temperature can drop unexpectedly. During my visit, the beach was relatively quiet, as most people prefer to stay in bed during sunrise hours! 😅 If you plan on taking a dip, don't forget to bring extra clothes and a towel, as well as a bag to store your wet items.

This beach is truly amazing! The water is crystal clear and the beach isn't too crowded. However, there is a fee of $10 per person from 8-4 and an additional $10 fee to park in the lot.
