Bayley Beach

This beach is quite small and suitable for families, as it offers a peaceful atmosphere. However, it is worth noting that the beach has a rocky shoreline and the sand is covered in shells, making it uncomfortable to walk on without water shoes. I would not suggest visiting this beach due to the limited walking space available, which can be disappointing after paying the parking fee to enter. It is unfortunate that many of the beaches in Connecticut that welcome non-residents either have high parking fees or are closed on Mondays, which seems unreasonable. Therefore, the options for beachgoers are quite limited.

Rye Beach Park is a fantastic destination for families seeking a fun-filled day out. The beach is pristine and tranquil, providing a serene atmosphere for all visitors. The staff at the park are incredibly attentive to the safety of their guests, ensuring that everyone can relax and enjoy their time without any worries. Additionally, the park adjacent to the beach offers a great opportunity for a leisurely stroll. I highly recommend Rye Beach Park to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable day out.

This solitary tree on the beach exudes a mystical aura, making it the ideal spot to witness a stunning sunset. It was by sheer chance that we stumbled upon this hidden gem on a cloudy day, which turned out to be the most awe-inspiring sunset we had ever witnessed. The beach is scattered with numerous oyster shells, adding to its natural charm. The tranquil waters are so serene, beckoning visitors to take a dip and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.

This shoreline evokes memories of my cherished childhood beach; it's a frequent destination for my family and me. Despite the abundance of jagged rocks that can cause cuts, the beach is usually bustling with activity. The splash pad is a highlight, but caution must be exercised as it can be quite slippery. The park facilities are top-notch and the beach itself is quite lovely. However, the restrooms have an unpleasant odor.

Greenwich Point Beach

The view is fantastic, but the food could use some enhancements.
