South Jamesport Beach

This park is truly exceptional, boasting not only a playground but also a volleyball net for some fun in the sun. It's the perfect spot to unwind, whether you're flying a drone, piloting an RC aircraft, or taking to the water on a boat or watercraft. The view of the water is breathtaking, making it an ideal location for swimming, fishing, or even launching an inflatable boat or inner tube. Overall, it's a wonderful place to spend a relaxing day in nature.

Today was not a pleasant experience. The beach was littered with garbage, there were too many cars parked on the road, and there were rude people around. To top it off, kids threw a ball at my car and hit the back window. It was a terrible experience at my local beach, which was overcrowded and dirty. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

Iron Pier Beach

This particular beach is one of the four beaches in the town, offering a convenient and easily accessible location for visitors. With a spacious parking lot available, finding a spot to park your car won't be a hassle. Additionally, the recently renovated bathrooms and a hot shower make this beach an ideal spot for a refreshing swim in the Long Island Sound. In comparison, Reeves beach has limited parking options, involves stairs, and has older restroom facilities. Keep in mind that a permit is required for all town beaches throughout the year.

This secluded paradise is a true treasure. I relish my solitary moments here, lost in thought and contemplation, or bask in the company of my loved ones while we revel in the breathtaking vistas.

The North Fork beach is one of my favorite spots! However, it's important to note that you need a resident sticker to park there. 🧜‍♀️✨🏖️

This serene beach boasts vigilant lifeguards and well-maintained restrooms in close proximity. However, the beach terrain is slightly uneven with scattered rocks, making it a tad challenging to walk barefoot. It's advisable to wear flip flops or water sandals to ensure a comfortable stroll along the shore.
