This place is absolutely incredible. If you're someone who loves going to the beach, this spot deserves a perfect 5-star rating. However, as a Professional Photographer, I would consider it a 5-star location if they had longer operating hours. It's ideal for capturing breathtaking sunrise and sunset views, but unfortunately, they open too late and rush you out immediately after sunset. On the bright side, the police officers here are extremely friendly and do a great job maintaining order. They are also very helpful and knowledgeable.

This review is specifically about the hiking trails at Sunken Meadow. One option is to create a beautiful loop by combining the Greenbelt trail from parking lot 3 to Kings Park Bluff, and then returning along the shoreline. Another possibility is to return via an unmarked trail near St Johnland cemetery. I also explored the less popular Wetland trail from parking lot 2. To complete a loop, you can return via Sunken Meadow road, but be aware that it can be quite busy.

The beach offers stunning views and a pleasant shoreline. Ideal for leisurely strolls or angling enthusiasts. However, it is important to bear in mind that it is a public beach.

This charming town park boasts a delightful pebbly beach that is perfect for a day of fun in the sun. With ample parking, clean restrooms, a picnic area, a playground for the little ones, and a vigilant lifeguard during the season, this beach has everything you need for a memorable day by the sea. It's worth noting that a paid parking pass is required, but the amenities and stunning views make it well worth the investment.

Sand Street Beach

The beach is decent, although it's not exactly a sandy one. It's covered in a lot of pebbles, which can make walking without shoes a bit difficult. Nevertheless, it's still a pleasant spot to visit.

Callahans Beach

The beach was absolutely stunning, with its pristine waters and breathtaking scenery. Our experience there was truly unforgettable, and we couldn't help but fall in love with its natural beauty.
