I grew up at this beach till I moved to Fall River about 40 years ago. Would meet friends from Dartmouth High class of 74. I also thought that if you lived in Dartmouth and went to Dartmouth High you should be grandfathered.

To be honest, I found this beach trip to be quite costly and not really worth it. While I don't mind supporting the maintenance of the beach, the entrance fee is $12 per person, and if you're not a resident, you'll have to pay an additional $15 for parking. The non-resident parking area is also located across the road, which can be a bit of a hassle if you have beach chairs or kids with you. However, there are plenty of free parking spots available along the sea wall and surrounding streets, although they do have time restrictions. Nevertheless, it's still a decent option if you don't plan on staying the whole day.

Private secluded beach offers tranquil waters and is complemented by a hotel that boasts an outdoor pool and a bar area. The delightful addition of live music further adds to the charm of this serene setting.

We arrived at the beach later in the day and were pleased to find that we didn't have to pay for parking (some had mentioned it was $20 for the entire day). The beach is comprised of both sand and rocks, so it's advisable to wear water shoes. It's a welcoming spot for both dogs and children, and there's a snack/dinner area available. Our time spent there was fantastic, with the ideal weather, the mesmerizing tide coming in, and it was a wonderful way to conclude our day!
