We never tire of visiting this beach! As you approach from Winnie (High Island), continue past the initial light sea foam green house and look for the entrance just before the second house. The sand is compacted, so there's no need to fret about getting stuck. Additionally, there are Johnny on the spot facilities available. Before arriving at the beach, stop by the store opposite the fruit stand after crossing the bridge to obtain a beach pass sticker, which will enable you to park on the beach for a full year!
