Our ‘Walk-about’ tour is designed for those that want a Storytellers experience - but without the bicycle! This easy walking tour takes you onto the ‘back road’ or Ara Metua for a leisurely wander, finishing with a fresh fruit ice cream. This tour is suitable for all ages and is family friendly: so long as you can comfortably walk and have equipment for taking small children (if applicable), then this guided tour will be perfect for you. This tour provides you with the opportunity to really experience and learn more about Rarotonga, it’s people, way of life, environment and so on, while sharing a few laughs with your group and tour guide. Each walk is tailored to your interests: you decide what interests you most and your guide will incorporate that into your tour.

Join us on the only foodie tour that takes you on a food experience from the market, to the local farms, and onto you plate! Visit the market and learn about what the local food vendors are selling at the market. Then, head out on our truck along the Rarotonga inland roads and see local produce growing - learn about how it is grown and used. Lastly, taste a sample of local produce and dishes for a real Cook Islands lunch. - We only take out small groups so you will have an interactive, personalised experience (2 to 9 people); - Family friendly experience; - Our truck has seating on the back (island style) for up to 8 (at a squeeze), and 4 can sit inside; - We will take you back to the market at the end of the tour, or drop you off at your accommodation.

The tour guide is very passionate about the history of his beloved Rarotonga and the stories behind the buildings and historical sites are very surprising, interesting and unique as well. Join Storytellers Eco Tours and cycle along the 'back road' (Ara Metua), witnessing the tranquil pace of local village life. There are plenty of stops to take in the magnificent mountain scenery, try a few local fruits, and hear stories that will bring a deeper meaning to the observations you make. You will be cycling on and off over a leisurely 3 hours, before finishing up with a delicious light lunch. Total duration is approximately 4 hours (pick up between 7.50 and 8.40am, intro / safety / equipment set up 8.40 to 9am, tour 9 to 12noon, lunch 12 to 12.30pm, drop offs 12.30 to 1.20pm). Small group size means that each tour is unique and tailored to suit the interests of those doing the tour on the day.

The unique aspect of Paint and Sip is that it is tropical themed, offering a relaxing and fun atmosphere for guests to unleash their creativity. What sets this experience apart is the stunning views of the island that guests can enjoy while they paint, adding an element of beauty and tranquility to the activity. Join Storytellers Eco Tours and cycle at a relaxed pace with your small group for four hours along the 'back road' - Ara Metua, lane ways and occasional gentle terrain bush tracks. You will experience the tranquil pace of local village life, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are plenty of stops along the way where your tour guide will tell you more about what you are seeing and experiencing. The 'explore' tour concludes with a picnic lunch at the beach, where you can have a swim to cool off. This is the more advanced of our three bicycle tours and better for those with some confidence cycling. You will ne picked up between 7.50 and 8.40am, tour is from approx. 9 to 1pm, followed by lunch and a swim before being dropped back to your accommodation.
