Visit and wine tasting at three châteaux in the famous villages of Margaux, St Julien, Pauillac or St Estephe. The terroir changes as we go up this rather flat landscape which forms a peninsular between the large Gironde Estuary and the Atlantic sea to the left. Increasing number of large gravel stones make the wine more fullbodied. We will taste the difference between a Margaux and a Pauillac or St Julien and some older ones.
