After a safety briefing, we’ll journey 6km upstream (12km round trip) to the furthest navigable point, offering captivating commentary on the region’s history, fishing industry, and unique wildlife. Relax and take in the scenery as the landscape unfolds into open spaces and low shrubbery, home to ospreys, kites, pelicans, egrets, black swans, and the majestic white-breasted sea eagles. You might also spot kangaroos, emus, and goats along the riverbanks. The cruise features stunning colored rock formations and a narrow channel near Goat Island. We pull our lobster pots, re-bait, then re-set them back into the ocean- keeping the prize catch where we return to the marina & you have the option to take some Rock Lobster with you! We have the capacity to pull up to 12 lobster pots so tour times vary between 1-2 hours depending on the catch rate.
