First stop is the Love Staircase (Scalinata dell’Amore), where the steps show lyrics from Max Gazzè’s song “The Legend of Pizzomunno and Cristalda.” Couples who walk it together are said to stay united forever, giving Vieste the nickname “City of Love.” Next, visit the Cathedral of Saint Maria Assunta, an 11th-century gem in the historic center, with a stone façade, Romanesque arches, marble altar, and ceiling frescoes. Ostuni, the “White City”, stands on a hill with spectacular views and its old town is a labyrinth of alleys where whitewashed houses create a unique atmosphere. We invite you to take advantage of the 2h30 at your disposal to try typical local dishes. Finally, Locorotondo is renowned for its circular center, white houses decorated with flowers and the "cummerse", the typical sloping roofs. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of vineyards and olive groves, famous for local white wines. In Locorotondo we will stop for 1h30 hours.
