A slow and pleasant journey aboard our Tuk Tuks along the path of the ancient Romans, along the Via Traiana. The experience will be a real historical re-enactment starting from the medieval village - where its history will be briefly explained - and will then extend towards the farms where the millenary olive trees of Puglia are present. You will have the opportunity to learn about the history of planting and the origin of the milling techniques, explained by our drivers. Ostuni is one of the main tourist destinations of Puglia, called "White City" for the houses painted with white lime in the historical center. The guided tour of Ostuni will start from Libertà square, where there is the grand palace of the municipality and where stands the baroque column of Sant'Oronzo, almost 21 meters high. In Libertà Square you will also visit the archaeological excavations of the ancient walls and the defensive tower before taking Cattedrale street, full of local craft shops, commercial activities and typical local food product. The time spent in Matera will be a walking tour with stops at Museo Casa Grotta, a renovated cave with period artifacts that gives the visitor a great sense of what life was like before its citizens were relocated out of the Sassi in the 1950s. My trullo is located in a dominant position in the middle of a small valley, in an area characterized by the presence of typical rural buildings, trulli, farms and cummerse. We will immerse ourselves in nature in direct contact with the old Susumaniello grape plants, discovering the history of this ancient variety. You will choose where to live this experience, between one of the stone terraces or in the shade of one of the majestic trees in my garden. You will pick up your basket, with the excellent local wine and many gastronomic delicacies of my area, tasting in total relaxation taralli, focaccia, homemade bread, dairy products and fresh cheeses, traditional cold cuts and other specialties that I will prepare just for you. It will be wonderful to share these hours with you, and make your trip to Puglia even more special.
