Let's first stop at the Mont Dore fountain, then we cross the mountain range to reach the east coast and the village of Yaté (possible stop at the Blue River Park). We then cross the coast to the south with a stop at Gîte Yia and then in the village of Touaourou and its pretty colonial church, another stop near the village of Goro towards an incredible waterfall. On the way back we will stop at the Madeleine Falls for a photo and maybe a swim before returning to Noumea.

This circuit is short for those who have a small budget or do not want to spend a whole day. This allows to have a quick overview of the situation of Nouméa.

This shady park was created to guarantee the protection of one of the last plots of dry forest that exists in Nouméa. Covering an area of 34 hectares, it houses the only collection of live terrestrial animals of New Caledonia. Natural Heritage : Flora : The park is home to several areas of dry forest, araucaria plantations, a palm grove and a collection of cacti. Fauna : The animal collection numbers more than 700 animals. Some remarkable species included in the park are : the Cagou, the emblem of New Caledonia and protected bird, the Flying fox, the Caledonian crow & the giant gecko of Leach. Landscape : Visitors can discover the magnificant views of Noumea and its bays from within the park. The package includes transfers and admission fees to the park (note this is not a guided tour). You can choose to leave from 10:30am onwards and a last shuttle is around 2pm. You can stay as long as you want 1, 2 or 3 hours. This package is only available if Cruise Ships are docked in Nouméa !

A little bridge over the tank allows you to be just above this lovable friends. Your return transfers to the Aquarium are assured by the included Hop On Hop Off buses. Feel free to use these buses throughout your day to reach a total of 7 different destinations in Nouméa. PLEASE NOTE This package is available only if Cruise Ships are docked in Nouméa.
