The 25 Fontes Levada Walk (PR6) is one of Madeira’s most famous and beautiful hikes. Starting in Rabaçal, the trail takes you through the lush Laurissilva Forest and alongside Madeira’s traditional levadas – historic irrigation channels that carry water across the island. Travel directly in an SUV suited to high-altitude mountain roads, with pickup at Achada do Teixeira at your selected time and drop-off at the Pico do Arieiro trailhead. Use the transfer whether you are starting or finishing the hike, without sharing the ride.
