For the white marlin, I always fish with natural bait and light equipment to the tanner with circular hook or bait & switch.

Teide National Park has volcanic landscapes with many ancient craters that will bring a different planet feeling, while Anaga is an always green cloud forest located on the North Eastern tip of Tenerife where Atlantic trade winds form often a sea of clouds.
