Departure from León through the Torío River Valley. We will pass through the town of Vegacervera with its Roman bridge and the impressive Hoces de Vegacervera, brief stop at Las Hoces, to contemplate its rocky walls over 100 meters high. We continue the ascent to the Valporquero Caves, located at about 1,300 meters of altitude. With an interior temperature of about 7ºC (proper clothing and shoes are recommended). The visit is guided and lasts an hour and a half, where you can admire its 5 rooms with their stalactites and stalagmites. When the visit is over, I return to León.

Excursion to the place of Las Médulas, excavated by Roman gold mining, a monument of humanity. And to complete the day visit the city of Ponferrada, a monumental town with its Templar castle.

This route is the best way to get to know the town of Astorga in depth, it is a combination of the two previous visits. In the morning we will visit the Cathedral of Astorga, at the entrance there will be an audio guide that will explain in detail each one of the spaces of the cathedral. Divide your time well during the visit to the Cathedral because at 12:30 you will have to approach Gaudí's Episcopal Palace, where a guide will be waiting for you to start the guided tour. After finishing the visit, you will have free time to have lunch on your own and walk the streets of Astorga. At 16:30 you will have to go to the Roman Museum La Ergástula. The guided tuk tuk tour lasts approximately 1 hour, making stops in front of the most interesting monuments of the city. The first stop will be at the Convento de la Santa, built on the birthplace of Santa Teresa (here we stay). around 15 minutes to see the patio of the old house, the Basilica inside and the birthplace of the Saint and room of relics) we will continue towards the Humilladero de los Cuatro Postes making another descent to be able to visit the monument and see a unique panoramic view of the entire city (this will be 10 minutes) and a 3rd stop with a descent to the North Lienzo of the Wall where you can take photos in front of one of the most characteristic views of the Wall (stop of about 5 minutes).
