What a stunning beach! I decided to take the bus from Paraty's central station to Vila Oratorio, and from there, the hike began. The signs were clear, and after about an hour of walking, I reached Praia do Sono. Although the path was hot and undulating, it was well worth the effort. I must admit that some parts of the trail were slippery, and I was warned to be cautious of snakes, spiders, and scorpions. I even came across a dead snake on the path.
I stopped for lunch at the only open restaurant, and it was surprisingly delicious. I suspect that the low season might have something to do with the limited options, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants along the shore during peak season. There are also camping sites available, which is an excellent choice for those who want to stay longer and explore nearby beaches. For the more adventurous, there is a five-night hike, where you camp along the way and bring
Kaunis ranta! Otin bussin keskustan asemalta Paratyssa matkalla Vila Oratoriolle. Nousin pois viimeisellä pysäkillä, josta vaellus alkaa. Siellä on opasteita.
Lounastin ainoassa avoimessa paikassa.
Palasin vaelluksen kautta, mutta näin ihmisten ottavan veneen.
