If you stop reading now, just remember that this place is absolutely breathtaking. We stumbled upon los Vivos thanks to some fellow travelers and decided to spend a night there. But after seeing the mesmerizing views from our room, we deeply regretted not booking our entire stay there. The staff, especially Rom, one of the owners, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even Javier, one of the servers, was exceptional. But honestly, everyone there was just amazing.
The atmosphere was perfect for anyone, regardless of age. And let's not forget about the food - the kitchen consistently served up the most delicious meals. The beach was cozy and the built tikis were the perfect spots to relax and soak up the sun.
If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, don't hesitate to check out los Vivos. Trust me, they're not exaggerating when they say it's an experience.

One morning while we were anchored nearby on our yacht, we spotted some people and semi-hidden structures on the beach. We decided to paddle board over and explore. That's when we met Rom, the owner of the eco-lodge. He graciously showed us around and we were blown away by the natural beauty of the place.
The dining platform set in the jungle was especially lovely. We were there on New Year's Eve, and Rom invited us to join him for dinner. It turned out to be the most spontaneous and cool NYE we've ever had. The meal started with the largest lobsters we've ever seen, and they were locally sourced. We also brought some fish we caught, and they cooked them up for us.
The bar, located in the jungle, was fully stocked, and we enjoyed a bottle of a nice Chilean wine. But the best part of the evening was Rom's father, a physicist who played classical piano. He looked like Tarzan,

I had the pleasure of residing in the luxurious Cabin #1 and I must say, I would definitely do it again. The abundance of natural beauty and the mesmerizing stargazing experience left me in awe. The sweet melodies of the animals in the background added to the already soothing atmosphere. The food was nothing short of exceptional, a solid treat for the taste buds. I embarked on the hike to Playa Quesera early in the morning, and to my surprise, I arrived before the staff did. It was undoubtedly the highlight of my trip so far. Just a friendly reminder, make sure to secure a ticket at the office before embarking on your journey, it's completely free!

Olimme täällä toukokuussa, kun sadekausi oli alkamassa. On jotain uskomatonta siinä, että menee nukkumaan sateen ropistessa ja herää hiljaiseen auringonnousuun.
Tänne ajaminen voi olla haastavaa, mutta muuten mahdollista 4x4-autolla ja kohtuullisella kuljettajalla.
Sijainnissamme oli takapihalla uima-allas, josta oli todella upeat näkymät horisonttiin. Vietimme koko viikkomme uiden ja silloin tällöin katsellen Netflixiä!
Olimme Villa nro 2:ssa 8.8-8.13 ja se oli uskomatonta! Näkymät olivat uskomattomat. Villa oli niin kaunis. Kun astuimme ovesta sisään, olimme sanattomia. Haluan kiittää Noeliaa kaikesta avustaan. Hän järjesti kyytimme lentokentältä ja sinne takaisin. Hän järjesti Tortuga-saaren kierroksemme ja myös muutaman kuljettajan vieksemään meidät ympäri kaupunkia. Hän kysyi haluaisimmeko kotona valmistetun aterian ja emme voineet vastustaa sitä. Paikallinen nainen nimeltä Saidy tuli huvilaamme ja kokkasi meille. Hän oli mahtava. Raj, rakastimme huvilaasi ja suosittelemme sitä ehdottomasti perheelle ja ystäville.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The property was very clean and beautiful, with sightings of howler monkeys and other wildlife on the premises, as well as sting rays in the beach water. This is a fantastic place to stay, especially if you have kids. We were thrilled to find a vegan menu available, and there was another restaurant nearby with vegan options as well. We will definitely be returning, as our experience here was truly special and made even better by the exceptional staff.

Ranta on ehdottoman kaunis, upeilla näkymillä ja kristallinkirkkailla vesillä. Lisäksi hiekka on ainutlaatuista ruskeaa väriä, mikä lisää rannan yleistä viehätystä. Kaiken kaikkiaan se on ehdoton vierailukohde kaikille, jotka haluavat rentoutua ja nauttia luonnosta.

Kaunis ranta, joka ei ollut täynnä ihmisiä. Erittäin mukava tunnelma, jossa oli paljon ystävällisiä paikallisia. Rakastin spontaaneja jalkapallo-otteluita, avuliaita ja informatiivisia pelastajia sekä lintujen ja liskojen katsomista palmuikäntäkylässä.
Vietettiin viikko Airbnb:ssä tällä rannalla ja rakastuimme auringonnousun ja -laskun kävelyihin. Meillä oli myös mahdollisuus seurata kalastajia puhdistamassa päivän saalista ja auttaa päästämään juuri kuoriutuneet merikilpikonnat vapauteen. Toivon, että voimme palata jonain päivänä.
Loistava paikka rannalle hakuun. Täydelliset auringonlaskut. Erittäin mukavia matalia lammikoita ja lämmintä merta kauniilla aalloilla.

This little slice of paradise might require some fancy footwork to navigate the rocky terrain, but trust us, it's worth it. Just make sure you've got some sturdy sandals with good grip, or else you might end up taking an unexpected dip in the ocean.
Once you make it to the beach, you'll be rewarded with warm, jiggly water that feels like you're swimming in a giant bowl of jello. The waves are just right for some quality boogie boarding, and the crystal clear water makes you wish you'd packed your snorkeling gear. And let's not forget the sand - it's so soft and fluffy, you'll be tempted to bury yourself in it like a human sandcastle.

Paras aamulenkki, jonka koskaan saat rannalla. Kun vuoksi on matalalla, ranta heijastaa taivasta täydellisesti ja on hämmästyttävää, kuinka kaukana valtameri tuntuu olevan. Hiekka on täynnä hiekkadollareita, jos vain pidät silmäsi auki. This beach, oh how I adore it! The water, it was warm, warm, warm - like a cozy bath. If you're in search of a secluded spot on the Pacific side, far from the hustle and bustle of the bay, this little gem is perfect. No fancy restaurants or amenities to distract you from the beauty of the white sandy shore and the tranquil, brackish water. Just you, the waves, and some outhouses for when nature calls. Plus, did I mention the free parking? What more could you want?
Vesi on mukavan rauhallista ja meillä oli se kokonaan omassa käytössä arkipäivänä, mutta hiekka näyttää ja tuntuu enemmän soralta, ei kovin miellyttävää kävellä. Meressä kivetöntä aluetta on melko paljon, ja toivoin, että olisin ottanut mukaani vedenkestävät kengät. Kävelimme hieman rannalla ja eksyimme mangrovemetsiin, mikä oli hauskaa. Olin lukenut, että viidakon takana rannalla olisi mahdollista nähdä apinoita ja laiskiaisia, mutta emme nähneet yhtäkään. Tien varrella oli taloja koko matkan, joten meillä oli epämiellyttävä tunne siitä, että talonomistajat saattaisivat kurkistaa ulos ja eivät olisi mielissään nähdessään meidät siellä.

Ihana rauhallinen ranta upeine kiviä ja paljon saksiniekkoja (ne pelästyvät ja pakenevat, joten eivät ole uhka). Emme menneet uimaan, koska kivet olivat suurempia ja pohja ei ollut kovin näkyvissä, mutta laitoimme jalat veteen viilentyäksemme. Mukava paikka nauttia auringonlaskusta.
Mukava ranta mahdollisuuksilla välttää turisteja. Aallot eivät myöskään ole kovin voimakkaita.

Finding a beach was easy since Playa Mantas is conveniently located outside the pool exit of Hotel Punta Leona. Security guards are present, possibly to prevent locals from entering the hotel premises and to ensure residents can return. Despite this, the atmosphere at the beach is relaxed and the locals enjoy having picnics, barbecues, and playing music. While it's not a bad option, I would suggest taking the in-house shuttle bus to Playa Blanca, which is a nicer beach and officially part of the hotel if you're staying at Punta Leona. However, Mantas is a great spot for sunset photos.

On ihana rauhallinen ranta. Sinne on helppo päästä, mutta siellä ei ole paljon hiekkaa, pääasiassa kiviä. Ranta itsessään on hieno, mutta läheltä ei löydy wc:itä tai muita palveluita. Rannalla on roskakoreja, joten jos tulet, käytä niitä lähtiessäsi.

If you stop reading now, just remember that this place is absolutely breathtaking. We stumbled upon los Vivos thanks to some fellow travelers and decided to spend a night there. But after seeing the mesmerizing views from our room, we deeply regretted not booking our entire stay there. The staff, especially Rom, one of the owners, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even Javier, one of the servers, was exceptional. But honestly, everyone there was just amazing.
The atmosphere was perfect for anyone, regardless of age. And let's not forget about the food - the kitchen consistently served up the most delicious meals. The beach was cozy and the built tikis were the perfect spots to relax and soak up the sun.
If you're looking for an unforgettable experience, don't hesitate to check out los Vivos. Trust me, they're not exaggerating when they say it's an experience.

One morning while we were anchored nearby on our yacht, we spotted some people and semi-hidden structures on the beach. We decided to paddle board over and explore. That's when we met Rom, the owner of the eco-lodge. He graciously showed us around and we were blown away by the natural beauty of the place.
The dining platform set in the jungle was especially lovely. We were there on New Year's Eve, and Rom invited us to join him for dinner. It turned out to be the most spontaneous and cool NYE we've ever had. The meal started with the largest lobsters we've ever seen, and they were locally sourced. We also brought some fish we caught, and they cooked them up for us.
The bar, located in the jungle, was fully stocked, and we enjoyed a bottle of a nice Chilean wine. But the best part of the evening was Rom's father, a physicist who played classical piano. He looked like Tarzan,

I had the pleasure of residing in the luxurious Cabin #1 and I must say, I would definitely do it again. The abundance of natural beauty and the mesmerizing stargazing experience left me in awe. The sweet melodies of the animals in the background added to the already soothing atmosphere. The food was nothing short of exceptional, a solid treat for the taste buds. I embarked on the hike to Playa Quesera early in the morning, and to my surprise, I arrived before the staff did. It was undoubtedly the highlight of my trip so far. Just a friendly reminder, make sure to secure a ticket at the office before embarking on your journey, it's completely free!

Olimme täällä toukokuussa, kun sadekausi oli alkamassa. On jotain uskomatonta siinä, että menee nukkumaan sateen ropistessa ja herää hiljaiseen auringonnousuun.
Tänne ajaminen voi olla haastavaa, mutta muuten mahdollista 4x4-autolla ja kohtuullisella kuljettajalla.
Sijainnissamme oli takapihalla uima-allas, josta oli todella upeat näkymät horisonttiin. Vietimme koko viikkomme uiden ja silloin tällöin katsellen Netflixiä!
Olimme Villa nro 2:ssa 8.8-8.13 ja se oli uskomatonta! Näkymät olivat uskomattomat. Villa oli niin kaunis. Kun astuimme ovesta sisään, olimme sanattomia. Haluan kiittää Noeliaa kaikesta avustaan. Hän järjesti kyytimme lentokentältä ja sinne takaisin. Hän järjesti Tortuga-saaren kierroksemme ja myös muutaman kuljettajan vieksemään meidät ympäri kaupunkia. Hän kysyi haluaisimmeko kotona valmistetun aterian ja emme voineet vastustaa sitä. Paikallinen nainen nimeltä Saidy tuli huvilaamme ja kokkasi meille. Hän oli mahtava. Raj, rakastimme huvilaasi ja suosittelemme sitä ehdottomasti perheelle ja ystäville.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The property was very clean and beautiful, with sightings of howler monkeys and other wildlife on the premises, as well as sting rays in the beach water. This is a fantastic place to stay, especially if you have kids. We were thrilled to find a vegan menu available, and there was another restaurant nearby with vegan options as well. We will definitely be returning, as our experience here was truly special and made even better by the exceptional staff.

Kaunis ranta, joka ei ollut täynnä ihmisiä. Erittäin mukava tunnelma, jossa oli paljon ystävällisiä paikallisia. Rakastin spontaaneja jalkapallo-otteluita, avuliaita ja informatiivisia pelastajia sekä lintujen ja liskojen katsomista palmuikäntäkylässä.
Vietettiin viikko Airbnb:ssä tällä rannalla ja rakastuimme auringonnousun ja -laskun kävelyihin. Meillä oli myös mahdollisuus seurata kalastajia puhdistamassa päivän saalista ja auttaa päästämään juuri kuoriutuneet merikilpikonnat vapauteen. Toivon, että voimme palata jonain päivänä.

Paras aamulenkki, jonka koskaan saat rannalla. Kun vuoksi on matalalla, ranta heijastaa taivasta täydellisesti ja on hämmästyttävää, kuinka kaukana valtameri tuntuu olevan. This beach, oh how I adore it! The water, it was warm, warm, warm - like a cozy bath. If you're in search of a secluded spot on the Pacific side, far from the hustle and bustle of the bay, this little gem is perfect. No fancy restaurants or amenities to distract you from the beauty of the white sandy shore and the tranquil, brackish water. Just you, the waves, and some outhouses for when nature calls. Plus, did I mention the free parking? What more could you want?
Vesi on mukavan rauhallista ja meillä oli se kokonaan omassa käytössä arkipäivänä, mutta hiekka näyttää ja tuntuu enemmän soralta, ei kovin miellyttävää kävellä. Meressä kivetöntä aluetta on melko paljon, ja toivoin, että olisin ottanut mukaani vedenkestävät kengät. Kävelimme hieman rannalla ja eksyimme mangrovemetsiin, mikä oli hauskaa. Olin lukenut, että viidakon takana rannalla olisi mahdollista nähdä apinoita ja laiskiaisia, mutta emme nähneet yhtäkään. Finding a beach was easy since Playa Mantas is conveniently located outside the pool exit of Hotel Punta Leona. Security guards are present, possibly to prevent locals from entering the hotel premises and to ensure residents can return. Despite this, the atmosphere at the beach is relaxed and the locals enjoy having picnics, barbecues, and playing music. While it's not a bad option, I would suggest taking the in-house shuttle bus to Playa Blanca, which is a nicer beach and officially part of the hotel if you're staying at Punta Leona. However, Mantas is a great spot for sunset photos.

However, the little beach itself was the real highlight of the trip. It was absolutely gorgeous, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder as I gazed out at the crystal-clear waters and picturesque surroundings. Overall, the experience was truly unforgettable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Back in 2004, I had an unforgettable experience at the beach when I accidentally stepped on a stingray. Although the incident was unfortunate, the staff provided exceptional service by quickly taking me to Orotina for necessary medical attention. Despite this unexpected event, the beach itself was absolutely stunning and had a natural charm that left me in awe. The crystal-clear waters and soft sand were perfect for swimming and sunbathing. I highly recommend this beach to anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway.

Once you make it to the beach, you'll be rewarded with warm, jiggly water that feels like you're swimming in a giant bowl of jello. The waves are just right for some quality boogie boarding, and the crystal clear water makes you wish you'd packed your snorkeling gear. Our stay here was absolutely amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The property was very clean and beautiful, with sightings of howler monkeys and other wildlife on the premises, as well as sting rays in the beach water. This is a fantastic place to stay, especially if you have kids. We were thrilled to find a vegan menu available, and there was another restaurant nearby with vegan options as well. We will definitely be returning, as our experience here was truly special and made even better by the exceptional staff.

I had the pleasure of residing in the luxurious Cabin #1 and I must say, I would definitely do it again. The abundance of natural beauty and the mesmerizing stargazing experience left me in awe. The sweet melodies of the animals in the background added to the already soothing atmosphere. The food was nothing short of exceptional, a solid treat for the taste buds. I embarked on the hike to Playa Quesera early in the morning, and to my surprise, I arrived before the staff did. It was undoubtedly the highlight of my trip so far. Just a friendly reminder, make sure to secure a ticket at the office before embarking on your journey, it's completely free!

Ranta on loistava paikka, täydellinen vietettäväksi ihana päivä perheen tai ystävien kanssa. Se on myös melko turvallinen, joten voit rentoutua ja nauttia kauniista ruskeasta hiekasta.

Jos budjettisi on tiukka, tämä ranta on hyvä vaihtoehto. Käytin noin 10 dollaria puolisolleni ja kahdelle lapselleni, mikä sisälsi 2 dollarin pysäköintimaksun. On kuitenkin tärkeää saapua ajoissa, sillä paikat täyttyvät nopeasti, ja varjoalueita on rajoitetusti.

Turistina tämä on kaunis ranta. Kauniita auringonlaskuja, herkullista ruokaa, hyviä myyjiä ja ystävällisiä ihmisiä. Rakastan sitä, että siellä on kylpyhuoneet, suihkut, paikkoja istua varjossa ja lukittavia kaappeja. Ja seikkailunhaluisille on tarjolla riippuliitoa. Todella kätevää ja upeaa.

Ranta on loistava paikka, täydellinen vietettäväksi ihana päivä perheen tai ystävien kanssa. Se on myös melko turvallinen, joten voit rentoutua ja nauttia kauniista ruskeasta hiekasta.

Jos budjettisi on tiukka, tämä ranta on hyvä vaihtoehto. Käytin noin 10 dollaria puolisolleni ja kahdelle lapselleni, mikä sisälsi 2 dollarin pysäköintimaksun. On kuitenkin tärkeää saapua ajoissa, sillä paikat täyttyvät nopeasti, ja varjoalueita on rajoitetusti.
Paikalla on pieni ruokapaikka, mutta vessat eivät ole hyvin pidettyjä. Lisäksi huomasin, että vesijetki- ja banaanikyytien vuokraus on mahdollista.

Turistina tämä on kaunis ranta. Kauniita auringonlaskuja, herkullista ruokaa, hyviä myyjiä ja ystävällisiä ihmisiä. Rakastan sitä, että siellä on kylpyhuoneet, suihkut, paikkoja istua varjossa ja lukittavia kaappeja. Ja seikkailunhaluisille on tarjolla riippuliitoa. Todella kätevää ja upeaa.

Ranta on kaunis paikka harmaalla hiekalla, ja se on ehdottomasti vierailun arvoinen. Maisema on upea ja ilmapiiri erittäin rentouttava. Kaiken kaikkiaan se on loistava paikka viettää päivä tai kaksi auringonpaistetta nauttien ja aaltoja ihaillen.
