Ei kannata vaivautua tämän rannan kanssa. Se on vain toinen tylsä hiekkaranta. Älä tuhlaa aikaasi.

What a charming anecdote! Apparently, back in 1895, two revolutionary heroes, José Martà and Máximo Gómez, made an unexpected pit-stop at this beach. They had hopped off a German fruit steamer that had just left the Bahamas and were on their way to join a rebellion in Cuba. It's hard to imagine the excitement and anticipation they must have felt as they stepped onto this sandy shore, ready to fight for their cause. It's a shame we can't ask them for their thoughts on the beach itself, but I'm sure they were too preoccupied with their mission to notice the beauty around them. Still, it's fascinating to think that this unassuming spot played a small part in such a significant moment in history.
