An absolute dream of a beach, the most beautiful in Sardinia. I recommend visiting the beach via the hiking trail and starting as early as possible. You should buy the ticket three days in advance using the Heart of Sardinia app or website. We set off at 8 a.m. and arrived at the beach shortly after 9 a.m. At that time of day there were hardly any visitors. At around 11 a.m. the beach gets busier, and soon it is so busy that space becomes tight. The return journey took us two hours, taking regular breaks and walking at a leisurely pace. The return journey is strenuous but absolutely doable; large trees provide plenty of shade at regular intervals and a pleasant temperature for a short breather. You should bring at least 2 liters of water per person.
Entrance free of charge in april before the season, parking lot available. As for someone who is not in the best physical shape the trail wasnt the hardest one. First, you go up for about 10 min, then walk on sort of plateau for another 10 min and then 2,5 km of going down the rocks, which took us about a 1h15min with a very short break for some photos along the way. You'd better want to have good shoes for that, sneakers will be fine as long as they cover your ankles, it is very easy to slip off the rock and twist an ankle. Spectacular views near the end of the trail. Icy cold water now, but we jumped in anyway. You could use swimming shoes, the beach is full of small rocks. Perfect snorkelling spot. The return was unexpectedly way better. Walking up on the rocks was much easier and took less time even though it was a constant climbing sort of nightmare; we were back by the car in about 1h 20 min. Seriously, I think any one can pass the trail quite easily, just make sure you have the right shoes, water and snacks. And the additional info contrary to many opinions - there's a lot of sun along the way, take it into consideration while planning when to go there.
