The Witteringsin kylä: 2 rantaa alueella

Tulee äärimmäisen vilkkaaksi kuumina aurinkoisina päivinä. Varaa pysäköinti etukäteen. Älä myöskään odota viime hetkeen päästäksesi ulos, sillä joudut jonottamaan tunnin tai niin. Muuten ranta on mukava. Matala ja helppo uida/leikkiä hiekassa. Ruokaa on saatavilla, mutta me otimme aina oman piknikin.

The beach is outstanding. However, I feel it would benefit from more eating places. The only place there gets very busy, especially during the summer months. Also when asking for a pastry and a coffee to take out, was told to get my coffee that I would need to go back outside to the outside counter, despite being told to go inside to get my pastry. During the summer months or hot days, this would be very annoying and sadly the staff would be the ones who would have to deal with frustrated customers. I got told afterwards that I could have got a pastry from the outside kiosk, but no pastries are on the menu or on display.

Kasvuvuosinani sain etuoikeuden käydä usein tällä rannalla, ja voin luottavaisesti sanoa, että se on vertaansa vailla tarjoamissaan mahdollisuuksissa. Aallot ovat täydellisiä surffaamiseen, purjelautailuun ja leijalautailuun, kun taas lähellä oleva pubi, jäätelökioski ja tuoreen kalan kauppa tarjoavat lisäksi kätevyyttä ja nautintoa. Lyhyesti sanottuna tällä rannalla on kaikki mitä voisi toivoa.

Ranta tarjoaa laajan alueen kiviä ja hiekkaa, joista vain vähän on kivikkoa näkyvissä. Se on rauhallinen ja moitteettoman puhdas paikka, jolla on selvä etu naapurirantaan West Witteringiin verrattuna rauhallisuuden ja puhtauden suhteen. Nautimme vierailustamme perusteellisesti, vaikka huomasimme lähellä rannikkoa olevien tilojen, kuten wc-tilojen, puutteen.
