This beach is a hidden gem that isn't too crowded. Initially, we were a bit unsure of the route as we had to pass through a gated, affluent neighborhood to reach the beach. To park, you simply need to obtain a parking ticket from a pay meter, which costs only $10. The preserve closes at sunset, and the rangers will inform you about it. It's important to be cautious of golfer tortoises roaming around, ensuring they are not beneath your car or that you're driving too fast. There are plenty of beautiful shells to collect, including different types that we couldn't find on Sanibel Island. We spent numerous days enjoying this beach, and it has definitely become our favorite in the Naples/Ft. Myers area.

I went to the beach in the late afternoon recently and had a good time. The area had just reopened after being damaged by a hurricane, so there were still signs of the damage in many places. The beach itself was nice, with a decent crowd but not too crowded, and I was able to find parking easily. However, getting to the beach was a bit challenging because there was only one entry point and it required a longer walk. Before leaving, we were lucky enough to spot a gopher tortoise, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it's a nice place that is still in the process of recovering.
