Tekojärvi Ruislip Lido: 1 ranta alueella

Kävin paikassa ystävieni ja lastemme kanssa, matkustimme Mordenista ja matka ei ollut liian huono. Sää oli hyvä ja paikka ei ollut vilkas. Ihana paikka, jossa on kaunis, puhdas ranta, järvi (meille neuvottiin, ettei uida lipun vuoksi, mutta kastelimme jalkojamme), kahvila, jossa on loistava valikoima ruokaa ja juomia, leikkialue lapsille, WC:t ja junamatka metsän läpi (voit ostaa yksittäisen tai paluulipun). Meillä oli ihana päivä.

Ruislip lido is an artificial beach, not very far from the heart of london. It was first constructed in 1811 as a feeder reservoir for the grand junction canal. Later it was transformed into a recreational beach for the mass. It has great cafe, very old woods near the beach and also a small train which is very enjoyable to ride on. Great place for a dayout or picnic and being in nature. I loved spending every moment of my evening there and i will be back for more the next chance i get. 5 star place !
