The Blue Holes are a short drive from Kalbarri, so just keep an eye out for the road signs. There were a few parking spots available, but the area wasn't very large. It also connects to Chinamans Beach if you want to walk there.
The waves along the sea were huge, but the water coming into the Blue Holes was quite gentle. It was a long and pleasant beach to swim in.
The Blue Holes likely refer to the rocky area near the beach, which can be a bit uncomfortable to walk on. There were a few people snorkeling in the area as well. We visited quite late in the day, so it was a bit cold and not many people were in the water.
It's probably a safe area for kids since the waves weren't very big and the water was fairly calm.
