The location of this beach is perfect, situated right in the middle of two coasts of the lake. It appears to be the greenest campsite in the area due to the abundance of trees. My friend and I, along with our car and small tent, paid 34.50€ for our stay, which was a bit pricey considering that hot water in the shower required an additional fee of 0.5€ for 5 minutes. Moreover, there is no communal kitchen area or similar amenities. However, there are plenty of sinks with drinkable water available. The WC and showers are separate for men and women, and there is also a laundry service available for an extra charge. Additionally, there is a bar/restaurant located on the lake coast with an amazing view, although the prices are quite high. The area, including the showers and WC, is clean, tidy, and peaceful, making it suitable for families and pets. The tent pitches are a bit small, but they are located right by the lake and offer shade. It's important to note that this beach is a bit far from the shops and Maurach center, but it shouldn't be an issue if you have a car or bicycle.
The location is beautiful, there's no getting away from that! We had a little hiking tent, so got a front-row spot, right in front of the lake.
The ablutions weren't terrible - they were clean enough. But the layout is a bit odd, in that you need to pay for the shower, and the place to insert the coins is outside the shower area.
On the downside, it was noisy, from both the main road and some of the other guests. Not all of the guests - just one or two groups who were playing music until after midnight.
