Although it's a bit challenging to reach Colorado de Abangares, it's a fantastic spot for families to visit. The beach is never too crowded, and there's plenty of shade to protect you from the sun's rays.

It's a stunning experience, and there are signs to guide you to the beach, so you won't get lost. The surrounding vegetation on the path is incredible, and the beach itself is quite extensive with many stones to explore. It's the perfect spot for couples to relax and have a picnic, or simply enjoy the sea. However, if you want to swim, you'll need to venture out far enough that the tide doesn't take you away. Access is free, and the views of the Gulf of Colorado are breathtaking.
