Spiaggia de la forbice is a truly spectacular naturist cove, perfect for those who want to experience the environment exactly as God made us. My partner and I are avid naturists who deeply respect nature, and we spent an idyllic time here from early morning until late afternoon.
However, visitors must be prepared for a very strict ecological policy. As explicitly indicated by the wooden sign on the trail, you are required to collect all human waste in bags and carry it out in your backpack. My partner has extremely copious biological needs, which she had to attend to multiple times throughout the day. Consequently, by the end of our long stay, the volume of waste we had collected was substantial. Meticulously managing and packing these copious amounts became a significant logistical challenge and added considerable weight to our backpacks.
The steep hike back up the trail was, frankly, a tragic ordeal. Carrying that specific, heavy, and bulky "eco-friendly cargo" up a challenging incline under the sun was exhausting. Furthermore, we were acutely aware that despite our best efforts with double-bagging and containment, we were unfortunately leaving a distinct and heavy scent trail behind us as we walked. This explainable but uncomfortable reality made the journey awkward. We crossed paths with a few hikers heading down who visibly wrinkled their noses as we passed by, making the situation even more distressing.
Yet, looking back, the pure, priceless joy of immersing ourselves completely in nature made us forget the agonizing and pungent climb. The absolute freedom of being completely naked, deeply connected with the earth and the sea, is worth every drop of sweat and every awkward moment. Highly recommended for true nature lovers—just come prepared with sturdy, odor-blocking bags and a strong backpack!
