Golden Sands Park has a clear ocean shoreline, ideal for sunbathing, swimming, and beachcombing. It's a great spot for those looking to escape more crowded or tourist-heavy beaches. Visitors should always be mindful of local conditions and potential rip currents.
A truly beautiful beach!!! I started visiting this beach more recently and I have fallen in love. Not once have I not found a parking spot. The beach is clean, and the sand is a nice golden color. Lifeguards are on duty from 9 am to 5 pm, and super friendly and always paying attention to the water. Restrooms are on site as well as 2 showers to rinse off the sand. As for the part of the beach were the sand meets the water, it is nice and flat and then it drops pretty quickly and gets pretty steep and deep. However after you swim through that deep-ish soft spot you, slowly start to reach a sand bank, which is quite nice . I have been there multiple times and every time I see sea turtles out in the water. Another great thing is when it is low tide, the sand bank is about waist deep for me (I am 5'3). This is definitely my new favorite local beach, and you can definitely expect me to be returning.
