On the way to Volosko, we are stopping on the main sights where the licensed guide/captain gives you the interpretation of what you see. This tour of "Istrian hill tops cities" will give you an impression of inner Istria. Driving to Groznjan we will stop for a photo on Lim Fjord. In Groznjan we will walk the ancient streets. If we are lucky, we might get to know one of the local artists. After Groznjan we will go to Motovun. In Motovun we will have a walking tour, tasting of truffle products and we will visit the city walls where you can enjoy the "View of half Istria". There you will have some free time for lunch, I can reserve a table for you at the famous restaurant "Mondo". There you can eat A la Cart, of course their specialty are truffle dishes. On our way back we will stop in Pazin to see the Abyss.

What makes my truffle hunting adventure unique? It od a real truffle hunt, not just a demonstration. Guests experience authentic truffle hunting in the forest together with trained dogs. We also keep our groups small — a maximum of 10 people — to ensure a more personal, intimate, and authentic experience. Truffle is an unusual subterranean fungus. There are two important varieties of truffles: white truffle (Tuber Magnatum) and black truffle (Tuber Melanosporum). Both of these can be found in the Motovun forest located in the valley of the Mirna River. Even though truffles can be found elsewhere, Motovun truffles are considered to be of the highest quality.

Madonnina is a traditional Croatian wooden boat build in 1983 and renewed last winter by me and my father with much love. It is a small boat made for groups, friends or couples. The tour starts in Harbour of Opatija. Each guest becomes a glass of Malvazija, wine from a local winery, which also has its story. On the way to Volosko, we are stopping on the main sights where the licensed guide/captain gives you the interpretation of what you see. On the way back we visit the most beautiful views of Opatija from seaside and make a Polaroid photo which you take home as a souvenir from this romatic and fun ride.
