The terroir changes as we go up this rather flat landscape which forms a peninsular between the large Gironde Estuary and the Atlantic sea to the left. Increasing number of large gravel stones make the wine more fullbodied. We will taste the difference between a Margaux and a Pauillac or St Julien and some older ones. With thirty years of experience I will be able to impart my stories and experiences while we travel and visit. If there is one unique region to visit, this is it! I will include a smaller family property to show the difference and get closer to the winemaker. We will normally taste the difference between a Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and then taste them blended together to understand the magic of Bordeaux! .
