We start our tour by transferring you from Nafplion to Olympia. Our first stop is a visit to the ancient stadium where the Olympic Games took place. Here, we will also explore the sanctuary of Zeus, which housed one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, a 13.5 meter golden statue of the god, made by Phidias. Continuing on our tour, we will then visit the archaeological museum, where we will see outstanding findings of over 400 exhibits and see the amazing Hermes of Praxiteles. We will walk through the beautiful surrounding areas with beautiful buildings and temples that depict the beauty, harmony and balance of ancient Greek art. At the end of the tour, we will have free time to enjoy a coffee or a meal at the nearby local cafes and restaurants. Our tour finishes with our return transfer to Nafplion.

You will then head to the Lions Gate, the monumental entrance of the palaces. Next, you will see the Cyclopean walls around the Acropolis, and the tholos tombs of Atreus and Clytemnestra’s. The next stop is the Corinth Canal, which connects the Corinthian bay with the Saronic Gulf and Ancient Corinth, with the famous temple of Apollo and the steps of Apostle Paul. You will continue the tour of ancient Epidaurus, where you will explore the ancient theatre of one of the most famous archaeological monuments in Greece. You will also visit the Asclepieion of Epidaurus, which was the centre of healing serious diseases for the whole of ancient Greece. Many monuments developed around it, most notably the temple of Asklepios, Tholos and others.
