For lunch we usually choose a different bay, a dip and we will be ready to enjoy a light and tasty meal in the cockpit perhaps accompanied by a good ice-cold wine! In the afternoon, wind permitting, we sail and everyone participates in the manoeuvres. Before sunset we usually moor in a small port on one of the Greek islands on our itinerary. The villages are always great to visit and the Greek tavernas serve very tasty and cheap food. With the right conditions, we will also sleep in a quiet and sheltered bay, with an aperitif at sunset and dinner under the stars!

We then continue to the Church of The Virgin Mary and after we have visited it, there is a short footpath that will take us down to the Evagelistria Monastery, built to be well hidden from pirates in a lush valley. This is the only monastery on Skiathos that is still active and it has a fascinating 200-year history, starting with the making of the first Greek flag. After a tour of the premises and the local museum, which houses a rare collection of icons, relics and traditional costumes, you will get some time on your own before departing. After sailing for about 25 minutes we will reach Panormos port, where you will have plenty of time to explore the place and eat lunch in one of the numerous taverns. Time to set sail for the last destination of the day and the maybe the most beautiful beach of the island Milia the ideal place to end the day. A visit to Panormitis Monastery is a must experience! This convenient transfer, budget friendly provides pick ups from Pedi bay and from the Bus stop at the village of Symi. The current monastery complex was constructed in 1783, replacing the earlier chapel. It is a majestic structure with a blend of architectural styles, including Byzantine and Venetian influences. The monastery is renowned for its towering bell tower, which is the largest Baroque-style bell tower in the world. Also, there are two museums, one ecclesiastical and one secular for both visits. Enjoy a peaceful atmosphere of this holy place walking around and light a candle for good luck!

The boat departs from tourist port approximately at 09:00. The ship will arrive at Symi Island port after approximately 1+1/2 hour and remains there for 3+1/2 hours. The guests will be having a guided tour along the narrow streets of the village Yalos and the opportunity to visit the local sponges and spices shops. Afterwards the guests can have lunch at traditional restaurants and can have free time to spend on their own, where they can explore the village and take some beautiful photos. Afterwards the ship will sail to the next stop, Panormitis Monastery. They will have about 45 minutes to visit the monastery. At ship will arrive at Rhodes port and from there coach will transfer the guests back to their accommodation.

A tour for those interested in local history, folklore and culture. The evening begins at the church of The Archangels, where you get a wonderful view and a short tour of the interesting, old church. We then continue to the Church of The Virgin Mary and after we have visited it, there is a short footpath that will take us down to the Evagelistria Monastery, built to be well hidden from pirates in a lush valley. This is the only monastery on Skiathos that is still active and it has a fascinating 200-year history, starting with the making of the first Greek flag. After a tour of the premises and the local museum, which houses a rare collection of icons, relics and traditional costumes, you will get some time on your own before departing. All in all a lovely way to spend part of your evening in peaceful and tranquil surroundings, untouched and undisturbed by the modern way of life.
