Assos is lined by pretty coloured houses, a small shady square and the remains of the 15th century Venetian castle up on the hill above the village making it a popular choice for visitors. There is also a small pebbly beach offering clear waters and stunning views across the bay. Foki Beach is a small, picturesque pebbly cove near Fiskardo, renowned for its crystal-clear waters, calm atmosphere, and dense olive and pine trees providing natural shade. It is highly popular for family swimming and exploring nearby sea caves, often featuring anchored boats. Fiskardo is the only village which was left untouched by the 1953 earthquake and where the original Venetian style buildings are still visible. This has now become popular with the rich and famous and the harbour is lined with luxury yachts in amongst the traditional fishing boats. After leaving Fiskardo we will have a leisurely drive back down the coast, stopping for a photo opportunity above the stunning Myrtos Beach.

We start our tour in the morning and visit the Myrtos beach, which is well known for the buest waters, the golden sun, and the wondreful view from the top. We will provide you beach towels free of charge. Our next destination is the wonderfull cave of the numph Melissani and ancient Greek God Panas. Melissani lake cave has been in kefalonia since mythical times, and first explored in 1951. An earthquake created an opening in the roof, of the lake cave, and that roof allows the limited entrance to the Sun rays and creates an extraordinary scene of blue and turquoise waters. We will visit the interior of the lake cave by boat , and we will also see the small island where our ancestors, held ceremonies dedicated to God Panas and the nymphs.
