I alongwith four friends started 17 August,2019 to Bakkhali. After reaching there we have taken lunch in a restaurant and the preparation of food is very nice. After taking lunch we have visited the main Bakkhali Beach. There are many qurio shop and fast food centre on sea beach of Bakkhali and lighting arrangement is good. So you can spend times in the evening at Bakkhali Beach safely.
Mainly during the months of November to December and January, a lot of people visit here and then the crowd is less. There is no dearth of hotels here and you will get rooms between 500 and 800. In the shops along the river you will find beautiful handicrafts of the villagers. "Serene Escape" Namkhana Sea Beach is a hidden gem! The soft golden sands, rhythmic waves, and clear blue skies create a tranquil haven. The natural beauty is complemented by a clean and well-maintained environment. Perfect for a peaceful retreat or a leisurely stroll. However, limited amenities are available, so come prepared. Overall, a picturesque destination for those seeking serenity.
It is a very good sea beach. It is in Namkhana block in South 24 pgs.Sundarban locality area.So many lodges, hotels and restaurants situated here. Hundreds of visitors come here to view and enjoy the magnificent scene of this place.
A very good sea beach to spend a weekend with your family or friends. The ocean here is very calm. The area is calm during day time and is surreal during the evenings. There's a buzzing market on the sea beach with lots of stalls selling some lip snaking items that most of us love to appetize with. The smell of fried fish is all around the place and there are stalls all over the beach selling a variety of fishes those are fried or batter fried. You can seat on the beach in chairs that are available in rents on hourly basis at a very nominal cost. The area is accessible only by roadways from Kolkata hence you have to either bring your own vehicle or rent one to come here. There are state government buses that are available here for transportation.
I've been to Bakkhali three times, and each visit has been delightful. Unlike Digha, it's not as congested, offering a pleasant and serene atmosphere. A one-day tour is feasible, but I recommend a two-day plan to explore the surrounding attractions. Don't miss out on trying the delicious fish fry available in the evenings at Bakkhali beach—it's affordable and freshly prepared, unlike any other beaches.
