Nice nude beach, quite a fair bit of space to spread out. Only thing is it is quite a hike to get to. The paths are not clearly signposted. I think I may not have taken the most direct path to it. Took me 45 minutes to get there one way. There are also leeches when it is wet. Leeches are harmless though, just let it drop off when it is done. The path was quite overgrown. Was glad I wore shorts so that I wouldn't end up with wet muddy pants. The original path near the beach to get down to the beach has turned into a landslide. There is a new path to the beach but quite hard to find unless you already know the way or have a sharp eye. Only nude beach out of the 7 nude beaches that I have been to where I did not end up with guys sitting near me.
Great beach and not overcrowded. It’s an official nude beach, but you can also keep your trunks😝 There’s a large grassy area above the sand beach with some shadow. You can reach the beach after a 20-30 minutes hike from the Otford lookout (there are a few parking lots). If you arrive by train, then it’s some 40-50 minutes from the Otford train station. Don’t miss the road down to the beach, it’s signposted. The hike to the beach is partly hard and steep, but you get the real jungle feeling 😜 Bring enough food and water since there’s nothing there but the beach….. And beware of the leeches if it’s rainy or wet: you don’t feel it when they bite you, and it’s not easy to get them off your legs…
Werrong Beach is an absolute gem in Sydney! Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, it offers a serene escape with breathtaking views and pristine sands. The beach is well-maintained and rarely crowded, making it perfect for a relaxing day out. The water is crystal clear and ideal for swimming or just dipping your toes in. There's a charming little café nearby that serves great coffee and snacks, perfect for a quick bite. The surrounding area also has some scenic walking trails that provide stunning coastal views. Highly recommend visiting Werrong Beach for a tranquil and picturesque beach experience!
One of the Beautiful spots of RNP.Have been there once. The trail’s too steep & narrow, so be careful x2.The bush walk is enjoyable.Appx 1 hour walk; Good Luck.
I love walking nude down the bush track to the beach. Take a dip but be aware of rips. Super secluded and natural. Nude walk back up is tough but rewarding. Definitely take water. If you’re lucky you may encounter wild life. I’ve seen snakes, echidnas and wallabies. Just remember to throw your clothes back on once you reach the top.
