I would have to say that there public toilets would have to rate with some third world countries. They are pathetic and whoever maintains them zero rating. One would presume that they are council controlled so that say's a lot about there hygiene.

Turners beach is lovely, the water pure and clean, you can see the bottom for miles and it's still shallow at 15-20metres from shore. Parking free in the small carpark and street parking available also at no cost. The thing I disliked was that it is a pebble beach, I'm used to soft sand. Be prepared to wear thongs up to the water, and watch they don't float away when the water comes in. We weighed ours down with heavy pebbles. We got there around 4pm on a weekday, it's wasn't busy, it was in full sun, no shade other than a massive log on the shore but a family were using that already. The tide changes quickly from 4, it went from soft lapping water to rougher within half an hour. Just be wary of that as I didn't see any lifeguard service at this beach.
