This unique sea cave gets its name from the bright blue light filtering through the water by way of an opening below sea level. To enter the cave is only accessible by boat or kayak.

The Blue Cave is really special. The light gets in a certain sharp angle so that it shines through the water on the entrance into the cave, and gives it the characteristic blue colour. On the way make a swimming stop at one of the most beautiful beaches in Montenegro: "Plavi Horizonti" (the Blue Horizon beach), with crystal clear water and fine sand. On the way, from budva also make a stop at the Calypso Cave , and at the tinyest church you ever saw, Sveti Nikola.
