Sit down with something delicious, a glass of something delicious, and just take in the views stretching out over the water and meet the other awesome people on the tour. After lunch, more wine tastings at Stonyridge, then the grand finale — Mudbrick Vineyard. The most iconic vineyard on Waiheke. A final glass with the Hauraki Gulf sparkling below you. If you crave solitude and ample space, this beach is perfect for you. Ideal for long walks and enjoying the sunset, we also noticed some people fishing there. It's conveniently located less than 30 minutes from the turnoff at SH23 (via Te Mata Road, then onto Ruapuke Road). The final stretch of the road is gravel and can be narrow in spots. From the parking area, it's a brief walk through the dunes to reach the beach (make sure to stick to the well-trodden path to avoid harming the plants). On hot days, bring jandals as the black sand can get extremely hot and burn your feet.

The ocean was too windy and the seas were too rough for playing, but the beach itself was still a fantastic spot to spend a few hours.

Plaża jest niesamowicie oszałamiająca, oferuje dwa osobne wejścia – jedno, do którego dotarcie wymaga dłuższego spaceru, i drugie, które jest dogodnie zlokalizowane tuż obok. Czasami fale mogą być dość masywne, a prąd wyjątkowo silny, co czyni go idealnym miejscem do surfowania.

The beach is incredibly stunning, offering two separate entrances - one that requires a longer walk to reach the beach, and another that is conveniently located right next to it. Occasionally, the waves can be quite massive and the current is exceptionally powerful, making it an ideal spot for surfing.

I really enjoyed this beach! It has black sand and there were hardly any people when I went on a Sunday afternoon. The parking lot is a short 5-minute walk through sand dunes to reach the beach. Just a friendly reminder, it's a good idea to wear shoes on a hot day as the sand can get quite hot.
