The beach is owned by the local government, making prices affordable. A set of one umbrella and two sunbeds costs 150 TL, and there is no charge for parking. The sea was quite choppy, so it's best to face into the wind. The wind speed was initially 10 km/h while we were driving, but it quickly increased to 25 km/h within an hour, surprising us. Due to the rough conditions, we decided not to go into the water. There were yellowish foams in the waves and outside the water due to the presence of mucilage. Visitors also have the option to bring their own umbrella and chair.
There was some seaweed in the water, but overall we had a pleasant day at the beach.
I'm not sure if it's the same spot as Akevler family beach or nearby, but it's definitely one of the best places to swim in Akçakoca. You can find their phone number on Instagram. The staff is very attentive and friendly. They have showers and toilets available, and if you don't rent sun loungers and umbrellas, it's free to use. There's also a cafeteria on site.
The owner of the beach business, Asuman, is a friendly and accommodating woman. She is a natural, kind, and enjoyable person to be around. The breakfast served is made with high-quality and delicious ingredients, with Asuman personally making the meatballs and pastries. The prices at this seaside establishment are very reasonable. Guests are allowed to use the showers, cabins, and toilets on the premises. The beach is safe for camping and offers a wavy sea for swimming, which is preferable to the previous waveless bay where jellyfish are common.
