This is a 2 hour, instructor led by a qualified and experienced instructor. Paddle through a UNESCO World Heritage site, taking in the stunning Welsh countryside views! 307m long and 38m high, the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is the tallest aqueduct in the world. Perfect for couple, families, friend groups and anyone wanting to see the Dee Valley from a unique view point! Dogs welcome too! MINIMUM AGE 6+ Any under 18s, please let us know how old they are!

See this wonderful Unesco world heritage site from a different view point. We operate in small groups and include all transport within the session. We make it hassle free. Meet and our centre "Riverbanc" and we'll do the rest. From start to finish you'll be in very safe hands. We start at the south end of the aqueduct and soon enough you are paddling across this famous feat of engineering which stands at an impressive 126ft above the Dee River. Although this style of canoeing is deemed a calm and peaceful session the look over the edge is a breathtaking sight, but with our staff on hand, there is nothing to worry about, especially with a safe footpath on the opposing side. After this it is then a breeze down the canal, learning and developing skills across the way with some games and challenges thrown in. Our endpoint is the Sun Trevor pub which is a great location for some good quality grub and a cold drink.
