Loch Ness , Outlander , Inverness Castle , Clava and Culloden

Darmowa anulacja

Combining both our Outlander tour and our Loch Ness Tour with local Highland guides we travel from Invergordon along the shore of the Cromarty Firth and make our way to Beauly , stopping at Robertsons Farm Shop to see some Highland Coos . We continue to Beauly Priory , the 13th century Monastery built for an order of Valliscaulian monks. The Priory was an ancient burial ground for the Clans Fraser and Mackenzie and has featured in Outlander. Leaving Beauly behind we carry on over Culnakirk Hill to Drumnadrochit and visit Urquhart Castle which sits on a promontory jutting out in to Loch Ness , the views of the Loch are fantastic from here and it was near here where St Columba is reputed to have seen the Loch Ness Monster. We then head towards Inverness where you will have an opportunity to visit the new Inverness Castle experience get some lunch and see some of the town centre. before we travel out to Clava Cairns and Culloden Battlefield before we take you back to the port.

Fairytale Dunrobin Castle, Millionaire Viewpoint & Highland Cows

7 godzin
Darmowa anulacja

This isn’t just a sightseeing trip — it’s a carefully curated journey through the very soul of the Scottish Highlands, blending history, nature, whisky, and wildlife into one unforgettable day. You’ll stand at the Millionaire’s View and understand why the Highlands take your breath away, wander cobbled streets that have barely changed in centuries, and come face to face with iconic Highland cows on a working farm — not a tourist attraction. At the heart of the day is Dunrobin Castle, one of Scotland’s most spectacular yet lesser-known treasures. With formal gardens inspired by Versailles and a history stretching back through the powerful Clan Sutherland, it rivals anything Europe has to offer — without the crowds. The tour also weaves in authentic Highland hospitality, from a whisky bar inside a 15th-century castle to a peaceful finale at Loch Fleet, where seals bask undisturbed on the sandbanks. This is the Highlands as they were meant to be experienced — wild, grand, and personal.

Wzdłuż Plaży Zachodniej znajduje się słynny Klub Golfowy Moray, pole golfowe nawiązujące do tradycji i historii z zabytkowym polem „Old Tom Morris”. Bliskość lotniska RAF oznacza, że gra w golfa tam oznacza także zapewnienie sobie najlepszego miejsca do obserwacji emocjonujących startów i niezwykle niskich lądowań.

Lossiemouth, often referred as ‘the jewel of the Moray Firth’, is a golf-oriented resort on the north east coast of Scotland. Blessed with two sandy beaches, glorious dunes and beautiful countryside, the town is a great getaway place from the stresses of modern life. Visitors can enjoy the long pleasant walks along the beach and soak up the town’s tranquil atmosphere. The West beach passes the landmark of Covesea Lighthouse and is about 3 miles long while the East beach is predominantly characterised by its sand dunes that run parallel to the sea and river stretching even further. Following several years of limited access, the popular East beach is now easily accessible once again thanks to a brand new bridge. The new bridge is sited off the Esplanade and is now officially open. The town is great for sailing and boat rides for dolphin spotting or sea angling while watersports enthusiasts, particularly surfers, will enjoy the waves. In the easternmost part of the older harbour grid of stone streets, Pitgaveny Street has the tiny Fisheries Museum, which includes some interesting scale models of fishing boats and a re-creation of the study of local-lad-made good James Ramsey MacDonald, Britain’s first Labour Prime Minister. Lossiemouth is The Riviera of the North – where two stunning beaches, one to the East and one to the West, flank the harbour. Much of this beautiful coast town sits atop a cliff with spectacular views. The West Beach is dominated by the iconic Covesea Lighthouse and is situated next to Moray Golf Course, while the East meets the town at the mouth of the River Lossie (where the town got its name) and has beautiful sandy beaches and sand dunes that stretch the length of the beach. Both beaches are havens for visitors and locals to swim, surf or build sandcastles. Lossiemouth’s white-sand beaches stretch as far as the eye can see. Known to the near 7000 locals as Lossie, the town is quickly growing due to investments in the RAF base and overspill from nearby Elgin, which is also growing apace. Parallel to the West Beach is the famous Moray Golf Club, a links course steeped in tradition and history with its old course boasting ‘Old Tom Morris’ heritage. The proximity to the RAF airfield means a round of golf there will also be a front-row seat to exciting take-offs and incredibly low landings.
