We'll depart from and return to the Folly River Boat Ramp and enjoy a scenic boat ride through the salt marsh creeks of Folly Island to historic Morris Island. From Morris Island you will also enjoy breathtaking up-close views of the historic Morris Island lighthouse. Many Charleston Ghost Tours have big groups of 25+ - NOT HERE!! We limit our tour sizes to about 12 to keep them fun! Or if you are a history buff, the Morris Island Lighthouse sits in the surf on the south end of the beach.

Before you set off on your hunt, I'll share my knowledge of the area and some pro tips on getting the most out of your excursion. Since this experience requires a good bit of walking, it is recommended to pack as light as you can while still bringing everything you will need for the trip. From Morris Island you will also enjoy breathtaking up-close views of the historic Morris Island lighthouse. During your journey to and from the island, you will enjoy numerous sightings of Bottlenose Dolphins and other saltwater wildlife.

This 2-hour introductory paddle on the Edge of America will get you into the basics of kayaking, all in the calm flatwater of the Folly River. All safaris begin with "ground school" or kayak instructions with your Lifeguard Certified Instructors. We'll explore alongside the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins.
