This excursion is a full day we will travel to the beautiful area of Poás, our bus will travel through mountains and cattle farms until we reach the impressive Poás Volcano. We will take a short hike to the crater to see its beautiful lagoon, of course considering that its sighting depends on the natural weather conditions of the area. In the volcano there is a beautiful cafeteria we will give time to buy snacks at the end of the tour in the Volcano. Then we will visit the Peace Falls a beautiful, 37 meter high waterfall where you will have amazing photos. Finally, we will visit an authentic Coffee Hacienda, where you can see coffee plantations, know the process and also test coffee and chocolates produced on the estate. At the end we will travel back to your hotel.

For this full day tour, we will visit three incredible places that are completely unique to this area. As well as learning more about Costa Rican coffee, we will visit Poás Volcano, one of only seven active volcanoes in the country. We will then see over 100 species including rescued sloths and hummingbirds in the La Paz Waterfall Gardens. This is my favourite trip in the San Jose area, providing you with a great combination of picturesque scenery and the chance to get up close to many species found in Costa Rica.

Departing from La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano), Tamarindo Beach, Flamingo Beach, and the Papagayo area, the tropical rainforest in the Tenorio Volcano National Park and magnificent turquoise blue Rio Celeste waterfall awaits us. A local expert guide will company you. We will briefly stop to admire the 400 year-old Tree of Peace. We'll cool off in the Celeste River by taking an hour-and-a-half tubing tour down the blue river and stoping in several places to swim and snack on fresh regional fruits. After tubing, we will have a typical lunch and return along the best route to viewing wildlife, such as two types of sloths, colored frogs , monkeys, exotic birds, and much more. On the way back we will stop at the Souvenir Market and then return to your resting place.

Rio Celeste Waterfall Hike - Tenorio Volcano National Park Upon arriving at the entrance, you will go on a 2 hour moderately difficult hike in the park.  You will walk through the rainforest and along the Celeste River where you can observe one of nature's most intriguing phenomenon. Organic Farm - Sloth and Frog Sanctuary After lunch, take a tour on a rural organic farm! You will be taken on an inspiring and educational walk, showcasing natural wonders such as tropical plants, flowers, birds, sloths, frogs, snakes, insects and many more animals that inhabit the farm.

This excursion is a full day we will travel to the beautiful area of Poás, our bus will travel through mountains and cattle farms until we reach the impressive Poás Volcano. We will take a short hike to the crater to see its beautiful lagoon, of course considering that its sighting depends on the natural weather conditions of the area. In the volcano there is a beautiful cafeteria we will give time to buy snacks at the end of the tour in the Volcano. Then we will visit the Peace Falls a beautiful, 37 meter high waterfall where you will have amazing photos. Finally, we will visit an authentic Coffee Hacienda, where you can see coffee plantations, know the process and also test coffee and chocolates produced on the estate. At the end we will travel back to your hotel.

For this full day tour, we will visit three incredible places that are completely unique to this area. As well as learning more about Costa Rican coffee, we will visit Poás Volcano, one of only seven active volcanoes in the country. We will then see over 100 species including rescued sloths and hummingbirds in the La Paz Waterfall Gardens. This is my favourite trip in the San Jose area, providing you with a great combination of picturesque scenery and the chance to get up close to many species found in Costa Rica.

Departing from La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano), Tamarindo Beach, Flamingo Beach, and the Papagayo area, the tropical rainforest in the Tenorio Volcano National Park and magnificent turquoise blue Rio Celeste waterfall awaits us. A local expert guide will company you. We will briefly stop to admire the 400 year-old Tree of Peace. We'll cool off in the Celeste River by taking an hour-and-a-half tubing tour down the blue river and stoping in several places to swim and snack on fresh regional fruits. Rio Celeste Waterfall Hike - Tenorio Volcano National Park Upon arriving at the entrance, you will go on a 2 hour moderately difficult hike in the park.  You will walk through the rainforest and along the Celeste River where you can observe one of nature's most intriguing phenomenon. Organic Farm - Sloth and Frog Sanctuary After lunch, take a tour on a rural organic farm! You will be taken on an inspiring and educational walk, showcasing natural wonders such as tropical plants, flowers, birds, sloths, frogs, snakes, insects and many more animals that inhabit the farm.
