In addition to the many changes that can be discovered from the water in the old and new center of the city, the EAST-SIDE-TOUR shows above all the latest developments in the shadow of the "East-Side-Gallery" - this 1.3 km long concrete remnant of the Berlin Wall, whose post-reunification pictures are currently being lovingly restored and whose name was the inspiration for this tour. With the Oberbaumbrücke, the redesigned Osthafen, the Molecule Men and the passage through the MÜhlendammschleuse, Berlin's cradle of urban development, this tour offers very special highlights. The tour starts at the legendary R.A.W. site, which is still the last piece of "real" Berlin and takes you past the Berlin Wall (Eastside Gallery) to Alexanderplatz, via Hackescher Markt, Friedrichstraße, past the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz and Gendarmenmarkt. Before we hit the road, you will receive a theoretical and practical briefing on our premises (approx. 10-15 min). Afterwards we will guide you safely and always in formation through the city (approx. 75-80 min). If you want to take a photo, let your guide know and he will take a little photo break. Upon arrival to the Berlin Icebar you’ll receive tokens. You can exchange these tokens at our two bars. The first bar you’ll enter is our ‘heated’ front bar. Here you can exchange your golden token and order a large Heineken beer, glass of wine, cocktail or non-alcoholic beverage. After a welcome drink in the lounge, snuggle into the provided warm clothing like a coat and gloves to surmount the -10°C. After this preparation, you will enter the actual ice bar in the back.
