Learn about the production process with experienced guides and see from small barrels to wooden vats with thousands of liters to understand how the wine ages. With a maximum of 12 participants, we are one of the companies with the smallest group to provide more quality to your experience. With a local guide you'll be able to enter 3 totally different producers, with different concepts in a 400 meters (0,25 miles) distance! Taste amazing wines! We selected variety and quality because there is a big difference between drinking Port and good Port! You're about to embark on an adventure along both banks of the Douro River, where you'll get to know Porto and Gaia in a fun and light-hearted way — ideal for all age groups. You'll travel through narrow, sloping streets as we explore traditional neighborhoods, see some of the city's most iconic monuments, and make stops to soak in the stunning views from the best viewpoints. We'll stop the car, take photos, go on short walks, crack jokes, share our history, urban legends, and fun facts... We’ll give you all the tips on what to see, what to do, where to eat, where to watch the sunset, and everything else to make you feel like a local here. By the end of this tour, you’ll understand what it means to feel "saudade" and what it truly means to be a "tripeiro". Walk in the morning! Difficulty level is easy/medium - a 5km downstream walk! Short description: Go across one of the longest suspension bridges of the world and walk the Paiva Walkways trail! Visit one of the highlights of Portugal: Costa Nova, and Aveiro, the Portuguese Venice! We leave from Porto towards Arouca town where we'll stop shortly for toilets. After a short drive, we'll go across the Suspension Bridge! It spans 516 meters-long across the valley and hangs 175m above the Paiva river! Enjoy an EXCLUSIVE TIME SLOT! Then, you'll walk the Paiva Walkways downhill in a total length of 5km over a wooden boardwalk zig-zagging along the Paiva river. Lunch is another experience! (meat, fish and vegetarian options available) After a power nap in the van, we'll visit Costa Nova and the colorful houses! Time to enjoy Aveiro! Discover the city center on a short walk, free time to discover on your own and opportunity to relax on a boat trip through the canals (optional activity)!

The journey is made in total comfort aboard a minibus, always accompanied by an expert guide who will share interesting facts and insights about the region throughout the day. Departure is at 08:00 AM from the meeting point at Calçada da Vandoma, heading towards the Douro Valley through landscapes marked by terraced vineyards and the winding Douro River. The first experience of the day will be a visit to Quinta de S. Luiz (or similar), a historic wine estate connected to Douro wine production. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn about the estate’s history, the region’s winemaking traditions, and production methods. Next, you will enjoy a boat trip on the Douro River, where you can relax while admiring the unique scenery from the water, surrounded by vineyards and traditional wine estates. On the way back, there will be a stop at the São Cristóvão do Douro Viewpoint, where you can enjoy panoramic views over the valley and take photos of this iconic landscape.
